Peterborough Museum was on my visit list for our trip and i was amazed how big it is. How many different exhibitions they have and how cool everything looks! Highly recommended, specially for families!

Nicer to take younger children for a couple of hours. Disappointing that you have to pay entrance. The gift is not that big but I guess you do not go for the gift shop. Nice afternoonMore

A compact but great little museum, once the War Memorial Hospital. We particularly liked the top floor which houses modern history of Peterborough.

There is plenty to see here and it's all free! The pleisiosaurus skeleton is nicely displayed and the whole place seems to have had a revamp. The prisoner of war artwork section is interesting too, its amazing what a man can create out of nothing...More

Hello, the museum is completely free to explore, including the Roman exhibition, apart from special event days where there is a small fee for the initial entry to the building.
