Interesting 10-12mins walk in the pitch dark from mooring on the Shannon side of the first/last lock on the Grand canal - but well worth it. Even on a monday there was life in the place, plus an ?owner interested in and knowledgeable about boats...More
Visited in Friday, lovely sunny evening. A really warm welcome, plenty of locals and tourists about. Had the Thai chicken curry, and wow, what a surprise. Generous helping and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend a visit, we'll be back!

Looking forward to seeing you next time.
