Nice building on the outside, nice one inside too. One day before the pope arrived, it was a bit of balancing between please come and please don't. We all know why. Keeping a lid on things and sweeping the abuse under the carpet.

Lovely church in the centre of Drogheda. Very serene inside. Shrine to Oliver Plunkett in the church. Wide steps outside to sit and watch the world pass by.

The Church is worth a visit. There is a mumified head of an old archbishop, Oliver Plunkett, but I found The glass Windows more interesting.

The church steps were littered with Cigarette ends and tin cans. The church had a dungeon door on display for some unknown reason - best avoided.
