While traveling around Kilkenny and knowing the history of the Butter Slip we had to check it out. Do a little research on the place before visiting it helps to take it all in.

This very old street is such a photo opportunity. Reminds me of Edinburgh alleyways and closes. It has some interesting shops too.

This is a sort of a little alleyway between buildings, and is very cool. Glad our guide took us through it.

I stumbled upon this whole exploring Kilkenny city. It's a very cute little alley. While wandering up the steps you might feel like you've stepped back in time to a medieval period.

We just happened by this small street, alley. It was an interesting find we stumbled upon. It would make for a good photo shoot.

There's not much to see, but the Butter Slip is a good pass through from High Street to Low Street and an interesting story. (One of the stops on the bike tour.)
