We love this place. There are two ways to approach the woods- one from the Tralee/ Killorglin road and one from the Tralee/ Limerick road. Just be careful parking as there is a height restriction bar across the entrance- so if you have a roof...More

Weather permitting of course ,this is an enchanting place for a walk or a picnic. Along the way you will find wood carvings to add to the fairy tale feeling.Close to everything in Tralee and just a place to relax and unwind.

A lovely walk in forest. Children had a blast running around burning off energy trying to name all the trees, picking up fallen leaves to press when we got home. Lovely wood carvings. Well worth a visit

Paved trails that are good for mountain biking or running. I wouldn't take a road bike here. Entrance is a 10 minute walk of Ballygarry House along a quiet road
