Muckross Abbey and Muckross House offer a lot. If you are up for a long walk, then heading up to the Torc Waterfall is a good choice. There is a parking lot nearby which we did not stay at, but rather parked at the Abbey...More

Ireland is beautiful and sites like this one are a must see. Beautiful hike, beautiful forest and great introduction to the Killarney National Park. Next trip I will be planning a longer stay at the park.

Such a lovely waterfall, glad we went after a few days rain as it always ensures a good amount of water on the falls. It’s only a few minutes walk to the falls as well from the car park. A little bit further up the...More

The hike up and past Torc Waterfall was stunning. It was a fairly easy vertical hike. However, people with limited mobility may want to pass.

Go early, as parking is limited. Well worth a walk to the mid-way of the waterfall, if you're not up to the full climb. See trees upended and watch the water cascade down the mountain. Almost as good as Powerscourt, tho' here you get nearer...More

Beautiful hike around the yellow then blue loop. We hiked to the top of the falls then down to the lake and along the lake back to the car lot. Parking is difficult to find, so go early.

This is just a short walk off the main road. Parking is very difficult to find, and quite crowded. Still, worth the small hike over there. We were able to find a 2-3 mile hike around the waterfall which was lovely.

Very busy, short walk from car park, free attraction, impressive waterfall but difficult to get good photos as so busy.

Easy to find with parking on site and just off the road. No admission fee. Easy and short walk to the falls. A good stop.

There is a car park down the bottom of the waterfall but a steep slope up to see the waterfall... you probably could push a buggy but may find it a bit difficult. I would carry your baby if I am honest.

THe walk from the parking lot closest to the falls is only a 5 minute walk. If you decide to go up the steps after viewing the falls takes another 5 mins to the first level. You can't see the waterfall from there. But... More

It's kinda on the other side of Killarney. Like the cathedral is in town and then Torc Waterfall is out past Muckross House in the park. Not terribly far though.
