Visited here recently. It wasn't great. Not a great selection for gluten free. Staff abit abrupt. Cleaned under our table while we were eating. Not a great atmosphere.

Two days of walking this trail barely scratched the surface of its treasures. It passes through woods, grazing land, up into hills with beautiful views of the sea, and through towns in the Ring of Kerry area.

We walked 11 Km from the church just past Lady's view to Muckross House. Was a spectacular walk through a well marked trail. In woods, between mountains. A number of areas have to walk over rocks so need to be careful. The trail also goes...More

We had a private driver tour, we weren't rushed took all day. Our driver could take us places that the big tour buses couldn't go because of the narrow roadways. The only way to properly do the Ring of Kerry.

A bit over-hyped, the Ring of Kerry was full of tourist buses and tourist traps. Recommend getting off the beaten path and going on the Skellig Ring and the town of Ballinskelligs, if you have your own car. There were some great views from the...More

You need a good weather to compliment the beautiful drive. We were on a coach tour and navigated this 179km ring through spectacular mountains, forest and the wild atlantic coast. Unfortunately lady luck was not with us and most parts of the ride, the weather...More

One of the most beautiful walks I've ever done. Goes between mountains through the Killarney national park back to Killarney. You can take a bus at 7:40 or 11:40 to Kenmare from Killarney bus station and walk back to Killarney. The walk is around 25...More

Hi, It's all a great adventure, but the day from Sneem to Kenmare is long and tiring so you could consider avoiding that section. All sections will be very tough if you strike heavy rain. You can download a series of maps... More

You should know there is a new bus that travels around this area! It's called Local Link and goes much more often than the 279A, and also goes to Portmagee, Ballinskelligs, and more. I stay in Glenbeigh in the summer, and... More
