We didn’t get there in time to go inside (closes at 5), but it was nonetheless a cool walk around the castle. A very quintessential Irish castle.

Very interesting tour and well presented. Gave a good impression of what life was like a few hundred years ago, nasty, smelly and short!! The spiral staircase is tricky, do remember you have to come down again, I came down backwards. And only five euro!!...More

It was windy, showery and cloudy when we visit but the views and surroundings were still amazing! Theres a boat that cost about €15 per person to go around the lakes and an inside tour in the castle which is another fee, although we didn’t...More

The Ross Castle B&B is in Oldcastle County Meath and not the one in Killarney. There is a disclaimer in their website.

You cannot have any food or drink out during your tour however there are lovely areas outside to eat and enjoy the brilliant views.
