The Ring of Kerry is a long drive on a winding narrow road. There are a few nice vistas and a couple of towns along the way but for the most part it is a boring drive. Better to leave Killarney toward Muckross House then...More

Instead of joining a tour I decided to rent a car and view the countryside. With the help of a GPS, it's pretty easy and I think was a more relaxed viewing of the Ring of Kerry. I started out my morning driving from the...More

The views were very beautiful. After bus touring for the last 8 days we were kind of blurring together the Irish Country sides. But looking at our photos we are remembering and sorting it all out. I should of taken more photos of the signage.

Having previously driven this very scenic loop as a younger person, and with time a factor, we only drove the Kenmare to Killarney section on this trip ... and once again was reminded how beautiful this part of Ireland was. The views of the lakes...More

There are some lovely corners - around Caherdaniel and Derrynane - and the north side offers some lovely views to Dingle but is otherwise pleasant but not wow.Slea Head drive on the Dingle Peninsula is much more attractive overall I thought. Also enjoyed Connemara better too....More

My Ring of Kerry tour was wonderful! I took O’Conners your bus and John, the King of The Ring was a wonderful & entertaining guide! We stopped at a traditional farm village, a shepherd demonstration, had lunch, visited the original Avoca shop, and stopped at...More

There is so much to see and do in the ring of Kerry. You could literally spend a week or more seeing all the scenery and attractions. An absolute must when visiting Ireland

It’s iconic and it’s got some great scenery. so Many places to stop and see. we drove anti clockwise and had no issues at all. I’d try and avoid stopping in kenmare, it’s a bit of a tourist trap, nothing but end lows rows of...More

Can be done but a very good chance you will spend the day driving rather than taking in and enjoying the sites. Not really recommended unless you have no other options.
