Limited where you can go but a super ride from end to end. I started in Howth a great fishing village and travelled right through Dublin centre the south to Bray along Dublin Bay - fine views from the comfort of a warm train. Lots...More

DART services commenced in 1984 and I started using the service a few years later. The routes have expanded over the years with some of the original rolling stock still in use as well as more modern units added more recently. The service is quite...More

Used the DART from Tara to Landsdowne Road for rugby. We bought 4 returns at 3.95 euros each. Was very packed but this was to be expected. Great way to get about. Loads of stops to choose from. Brilliant service.

If you want a quick, regular and cheap way of getting in and out of Dublin and up and down the coast then you can’t go wrong with the DART. We stayed in Sandymount about 5 minutes from the station and found it the ideal...More

We were taken on the DART since we given to understand that it was the perfect way to see Dublin Bay and get a good flavour of the history of the area. Unfortunately there is little to see from the train and our Guide wasn't...More

We purchased our 7 days (168 hours) Leap Visitor's Cards within hours of arriving at the Dublin Bus Head Office at 59 O'Connell Street. At 40 Euros each they were a relative bargain and we used them every day in and out of Dublin City...More

We travelled on the DART to see a little more of the surrounding area of Dublin and the coastline. The train was clean and roomy and offered good views. It was busier in the evening rush hour when we came back into Dublin City but...More

For our short visit to Dublin, the DART was great for getting us from our apartment in Ballsbridge into Dublin city centre. There at trams roughly every 15 - 20 minutes, which took around 10 minutes to get into the centre of Dublin. There are...More

A decent chunk of my time spent transiting in Dublin was via the Dart. It isn't the most modern transit option I have seen, but it does have free wifi on each train so that was nice. However, the train seemed to be easily cancelled...More

We took the dart from Connolly to Sandymount as we were staying in The Intercontinental Dublin. A two minute walk. It was 2.20 euros single per adult. We also went from Sandymount to Pearse station. Same price. DART can be busy but for short journeys...More

I would echo what's already been said - either the hop on hop off bus, or the leap card. The DART is good if your hotel's slightly out of town and on the DART route, but otherwise on of the many buses are accessible using... More
