Nice well run establishment with quality fittings. Staff professional. I'm from down the country so the price tag of 6 euro for a pint of Heineken was a bit irish. Pub is dedicated to up and coming musical talent. Went to see the American acapella...More

We visited this pub two times. Different stages, great performances and the public is very enthousiast. We rdpevially likes the performance of The Eski's.

Stumbled upon Whelan’s while visiting from Canada. The comedy show was half over when we showed up but they let us sneak in the back. What a great show!! Hilarious group of people and a really friendly laid back environment. Great service, great venue.

Wonderful staff...showed me where P.S. I Love You was filmed! Have fun looking at all the pictures of famous bands that have played there: Mumford & Sons, Hozier, Ed Sheeran to name a few! Wonderful whiskey! And great ambience!

Nice place , prices a bit steep... staff a little too laid back for how busy it was! But what a gig, intimate but big enough to get the big crowd in!! There are a couple of different 'rooms' with different things on.
