Excellent little museum with great displays of jewelry, ancient artifacts, Egyptian artifacts and the preserved remains of several peat bog men. The building itself is also beautiful. Definitely worth a look especially as entrance is free.

We visited the museum to view the mummified bog bodies. Very interesting exhibit. We enjoyed the rest of the museum also. The museum includes a Viking area and many Celtic treasures. It is free to visitors.

I did not see tour guides when I was there. However, it is a small museum and you can easily pursue your own interests by following the printed museum map.
