Peadar Kearney’s on Dame street is a traditional pub with strong historic roots. The pub is named after a musician who composed Abhrán na BhFiann (The Irish national anthem). We continue this tradition with nightly traditional, toe tapping music. One of the regular musicians, Brian Brody, is a must see for any tourist visiting the city. He’s a one man atmosphere machine. There’s a basement bar downstairs when upstairs overflows, which also caters to most sporting events. If you’re looking for somewhere with temple bar music and atmosphere without the prices, take a look at Peadar’s.

Always go here before going to the Olympia theatre. Always busy with good crowd. Music on some nights which has been good when we have been there.

The sounds of live music pulled us in and we enjoyed listening while drinking our beer. The musician was singing classic rock, not trad Irish, but the pub atmosphere still felt authentic. Convenient location.

Ventured out ISO of an authentic Irish pub on a long layover at the Dublin airport. As a single woman traveling alone the local patrons made me feel very welcome. Toe tapping Irish music and a long cold Guinness topped of the experience. John behind...More

Always a warm welcome when you pop in to Peader’s. It’s perfectly situated close to Temple bar and George’s street. The owner runs a good show there!! 5*
