I have been going to the Stags Head for years. Literally it is the only Pub worth a damn in the tourist trap of Temple Bar. The service is friendly and efficient, the ambiance is more local than touristy, and it had always had some...More

Draft Guinness beer, soft Irish meat pie and lots of friendly people. This gem is hidden on Dame Lane in the southern part of Temple Bar. Simple menu with delicious Guinnes bread and tuna sandwiches. Check it out - you won't regret.

We went for drinks here on our first night in Dublin. It was very busy but we got seats in the end. Its an old Victorian bar with lots of character and atmosphere

Interesting old pub, stopped by for a late lunch on a quiet weekday, generous portions and very tasty.

In a tourist area but still a great night out - great band playing and good atmosphere as well. Enjoyed it.

Small, quaint, charming. It's a classic Irish pub and is always packed. I love coming here in winter for the warm reception and to get out of the cold. In summer on a nice evening, it's really cool because bands play in the street, people...More

Great pub, drinks are good, staff are friendly and prompt and there is an amazing atmosphere. This pub has retained its old school charm despite being surrounded by 'modern' Dublin.

They are very efficient and manage to get food and drink to people pretty quickly. Dont expect a hostess and a wait list. You go in and find yourself a seat. Someone will find you and take your order.
