Wanted to visit Jameson’s when I visited Dublin and, I wasn’t disappointed. Educational, entertaining and delicious! Thoroughly recommend a visit here.

Tours are broken up into groups of 30 with a more personalized and interactive experience. The second part of the tour includes a three way tasting, and you get a Jameson cocktail with your ticket at the end!

The tour-guide was wonderful and the tour was interesting but far too expensive for the experience. The drink at the end was a nice touch but the "tasting" was very amateur and not an apples-apples comparison (also not work factoring into the cost). I'd suggest...More

The building is the old Jameson Distillery. Whiskey hasn't been made there in a long time, production had moved to Cork. The building has been wonderfully rehabbed and oozes its history. The tour gives you the history of Jameson's whiskey. But in reality you (and...More

There could be a lot to do while visiting an old distillery. But here all you get is 3 lessons : history of the company, making whiskey and tasting it. And if you are French and get the"good" guide, you'll get insulted for free....

Much better than the Guinness tour, which isn’t one. Entertaining and interactive. Taste testing and comparison, great fun.More

Ok. I wasn’t sure about going as I didn’t think I liked whiskey. Boy was I wrong. The tour was top notch. And guess what? I do like Irish whiskey! Just not JD I tried as a youngster. Ick. You get to taste and get...More

We visited Dublin last week and stopped in at the Bow St Distillery when they opened on Saturday. Maybe it was just because it was early, but there were not too many people and we had a chance to look around and then have a...More

Hubby and I took the tour on a Sunday morning. Not too busy, choice of tours to choose from. Our guide was lovely. Very informative and funny as she recalled the history of Jameson. Highlight for sure was the comparison taste test. You really learn...More

They do not actually make Jameson at the premises. Maybe that’s why this is such an interesting and fun place to visit. The focus is more on history and the whiskey it self which actually makes it more interesting. Great guide and also the bar...More

Thanks for your review M3088GQmarie. We're delighted you enjoyed your time with us. As you rightly said, all our whiskey-making now happens in our other home, down in Midleton, Co. Cork but Bow St. is where it all began back in 1780, when John Jameson...More

Reservations are recommended. We didn’t have any but went by anyway to see if they had any openings. We did stop in around 4:00pm and there were spots on the tour that began at 5:00pm.

We enjoyed the intimacy of the tasting. We allowed an Hour between tickets & that worked great.

Yes!! The only draw back is that you can’t buy liquor before Sunday at 12:30. Other then that they have tons of options!!
