Wandering through the trees and shrubs, exploring the glass houses, listening to the sound of flowing water. It’s all just magical. The cafe is pretty good too.

After a long day travelling, this was just the perfect start to our visit, the gardens were colourful and extensive. The hothouses a joy to wander through and the tearoom was a welcome end to the afternoon - very peaceful

The gardens are a fantastic free resource and should be visited by all. Car parking costs €2! There is no entry fee. There is now an entrance from the gardens to Glasnevin cemetery so you can combine two great attractions in one visit. The gardens...More

Take time out of your busy life and visit the Botanic Gardens. Walk around the gardens and into the glass houses and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

March should be okay...not in full bloom but Spring will be here. Why not check out their we site and see if there is a free guided tour when you are here and / or an exhibition on.

Free! In Ireland, most of the things with a word "National" attached to it are free.
