Could not believe all the variety of animals here. Was a wonderful self guided tour. Lions, monkeys, orangutan, giraffe, okapi, elephants, too many to name. Well worth the money. Loved it. Would absolutely return.

I’ve been to many zoos in my travels and this one tops them all for it’s amazing landscape, design, animal habitat and ease of walking. We witnessed a tiger eating his lunch, gorillas enjoying play and a snack, lions meandering through a sizable jungle like...More

There is no train or other form of transport available inside the grounds of the zoo. Most of the zoo is wheelchair accessible.

Ashtown House is a nice spot not too far from zoo and free parking but for a special occasion try the Carlton Hotel on the sword road or Gourmet Kitchen in Santry again free parking and a short distance from the zoo
