This stop was not part of our plan but I am glad we went. Spend the money and take the tour. I feel bad that I don’t remember the tour guide’s name, but she was great. Young woman with long blonde hair and a booming...More

My mom and I took a guided tour without doing much research other that seeing one or two pictures online. We didn’t realize it’s not actually a castle which was disappointing. Beautiful palace and we had a knowledgable guide but nothing special.

My hubby and I were a little tired from tourist tours so we did this one ourselves. On second thought, we would have gotten more from the guided tour. It is lovely, and so much to see. The cafe has delicious food and sweets.

I really enjoyed my trip to Dublin castle! The location is very close to the city centre and it has a beautiful garden, where you can enjoy a coffee from the cafe!

The guided tour is worth it. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was very knowledgeable and friendly while keeping up a good pace for the tour. Seeing the medieval ruins of the castle and the chapel are highlights. Don't miss the rotating exhibits in the hall behind...More

The year 1202 and King John of England ordered the construction of a Castle at this site, and it soon became home to Kings, Nobles and Viceroys. Entrance is by ticket. Visits are with a self-guiding option. The drawing room is lavish, this is where Viceroys...More
