This museum is well-done and covers a broad range of artistic styles. My preference is classic, rather than modern, but they have both. Sometimes some works are unavailable for renovation (we missed the Monet, for example).

Happened to be in town with time and visited National Gallery. Besides the art the building itself is amazing. Easy to understand details of the art and great atmosphere in building. Well worth a visit and no admission charge.More

Not the biggest or the best but well worth the visit to see the highlights such as the Vermeer painting. Nice spacious layout, not too busy.
