Try and visit other areas as Temple Bar is a rip off -the charge for food and drinks can be double to elsewhere

We walked all around the Temple Bar area in Dublin. The place is bustling with people and very lively! There are many bars and restaurants around. A must see on your visit to Dublin!

Amazing night out so many places to visit, 2nd visit in a year, and we will still come back. Expensive but you get what you pay for

Worth walking around the area to see, but other than a quick drink, not worth paying the higher prices.

Huge inside. Great music. Has an EarthCam. We downloaded the EarthCam app and had fun watching ourselves outside the bar! More fun was had inside the bar! What a great spot!!

Great place to see and have a quick drink, but it is a tourist trap and there are plenty more great Irish bars to visit that you won’t pay an arm and a leg for a drink!

The Temple bar and surrounding area was always full of life, you could wander along the street dipping in and out of the traditional irish pubs to hear Irelands true soul.

Located in such vibrant street. Most chance that you won't find a seat and it's crowded with tourists. but still come inside and feel the vibe of an traditional temple bar.

If you are going to have a pint do it elsewhere. The prices are high and they go up as the night goes on.

When I was there a couple brought two young kids in (around 6 years old) and they could have a soft drink. It was about 4pm and there didn't appear to be an issue. I think you probably wouldn't want to take them into a bar... More
