We visited on a Wednesday night and were lucky to see the Skirmish band with the squeeze box and accordion. Singing and drum playing great too. Best music we heard in our two week trip across Ireland and the highlight of Donegal for us!

Only in Donegal for two days but we enjoyed The Reel Inn so much the first evening we returned for the second evening. Anyone into music is welcome to join in playing or singing or just listening to traditional Irish. We want to go back.

This is a must see if visiting Donegal. Such a welcoming cozy bar with amazing live, traditional Irish music. No food is served, but they have great options for drinks. We went on a Wednesday at 10PM and the music was still going strong.

Popped in here a couple of times during a trip to Donegal. Very friendly pub and it serves a lovely pint of Guinness too. Live traditional music every night from about 9pm with a mixture of welcomed nationalities. Smashing place!!!

We had a very enjoyable evening singing & dancing to a traditional group. Very talented and sensitive to their audience. I am from Omagh and they played "Pretty Little Girl From Omagh". We had a super night.

My wife and i went in to listen to some traditional Irish music on Sat night which was brilliant . However we were not impressed with the chants by two women from Downpatrick and others of UP THE IRA towards the end.

Small friendly pub that is known for the authentic Irish music. You’re made to feel like a local sitting in on a jam session of Irish tunes. The night we were there, the group played squeeze boxes, a banjo, a guitar, and tin flutes. We...More
