We were on our own narrow boat and were tied up nearby and decided to stop in briefly at the small museum center. Gives a great little bit about the canals--the people were friendly and inviting.

Great little place with a small but interesting museum, boats to see and towpaths to wander. You can learn to drive a boat, hire a boat for functions, go on various short cruises or rent a boat. Friendly people and a great place to watch...More

We took the 21/2 hour boat trip with a short break on the way down. Thoroughly enjoyed it, very knowledgeable crew. Coffee on way back very much appreciated.
