This is an unspoilt beautiful little beach. There’s a small car park and a small cemetery just before you take a short walk down to the golden sands. There’s also a picnic and BBQ area. The sea is a little rough creating great waves but...More

One of the best beaches in the world. A large expanse of white sand that is quite spectacular, one of several world class beaches. This is a must visit for anyone coming to the Island.

Like most serendipitous finds whilst on holiday Dalmore beach was an absolute golden gem. The beach is clearly used regularly by locals who are lucky enough to have this magnificent beach on their doorstep.

A stunning beach. Good for walking, surfing, paddling though wet suit is recommended and great for a barbecue. Public toilets here are super convenient.

This beach was a wonder- amazingly blue water (cold) and the entire area so clean, untouched and impressive in its expanse.

Living close to the beach I may be a little biased, however I must say Dalmore is a beautiful beach, in sunshine or during high winds. There is some very large round rocks at the top of the beach, however a wee bit of careful...More

Great little beach to chill out on and enjoy the surrounding views. Absolute peace and quiet, heavenly - which would explain why there is a graveyard here. Single track road off the main road leads you down to car parking in front of the beach....More

Take a picnic and enjoy the sound of the waves and the stunning views. An unspoiled beach to spend the day in peace and quiet away from the rat race.

This is arguably the best beach in Lewis, we almost don't want people to go since it's always so quite, easy to take the car down the good road (with passing places but you can see miles ahead and it's straight) for 5mins from the...More
