A fine walk from the Atholl Palace Hotel to the waterfall. The path can be a bit narrow in places though. If walking on to the distillery from the waterfall, be aware that the path can be VERY overgrown in summer, especially the path beside...More

This is an easy walk from the centre of town/Pitlochry. Woods, stream, open rolling hills and field up to the Edradour Distillery. You can take the tour, try a few single malts and then walk back into town. Sweet way to spend an afternoon rain...More

Several trails through the wood to Edradour Distillery. Good paths and beautiful views. Lots of wild flowers and birds to look out for.

Black Spout Wood & Waterfall in Pitlochry was a great wee find! It only has a small signpost from the road so keep your eyes open for it. Once up the wee lane there is a car park and you can continue on foot to...More

Car park just by entrance. Walk was a bit steep going up but view of waterfall was worth it. Keep dog on lead as sheep about. Enjoyable and took about an hour at a slow pace. As it was a hot day it was a...More

Short walk/climb from car park to viewing platform and well worth it too. Definitely worth a visit rather than get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the towns tourist traps

A lovely walk taking in the waterfalls and seeing all the snowdrops. The woods were so peaceful, definitely the way to reach Edradoura!

The walk from the car park to the viewing platform is pretty short and in dry weather the paths are easily manageable even for a toddler but rather steep but I’m sure you’ll be keeping hold of them so well worth the effort
