This is a very old atmospheric building which has been made visitor friendly without compromising the integrity of the church. It's fascinating from a Historical point of view, but also maintains a sense of reverence. Also good place to buy postcards.

Pleasant church, dating back to 1440 (although there was a church on the site before), in the centre of Perth with many pubs & restaurants nearby.

Oldest building in the City. Medieval in origin and well worth a visit. Much of its original Catholic identity has been eradicated through the ages but vestiges are still to be found in the architecture.

Had a wonderful visit to this centrally located church --it was our first trip to Perth and the folk are so helpful-------this is a very well kept place of worship---well worth a visit to see where John Knox ---had a bit of to do !

I fell on my feet when I attended a Sunday morning service here - the welcome and interest shown by the stewards and minister were heart-warming. Being English, I don't have much knowledge of Scottish practice, but the service seemed to be traditional - without...More

I reviewed this church last year and came in to have another look as there was a Carillon recital with screens showing the player in his booth upstairs as the bells rang out .. They have a program of these recitals for anyone that is...More

I like the accoustic here and have heard some fine concerts. The setting is pleasant too, in Perth's Restaurant Quarter. But the greatest pleasure was to be allowed to climb up the belfry and onto the roof, seeing on the way the mechanism for the...More

Well documented and with helpful volunteers this was a surprising church. Like a good story you have to visit yourself to enjoy it.
