A lovely building but limited selection of items on display. Looks like work underway on upper floor. There must be some Victorian etc , talented, painters, sculptors, missionaries, locals with art, books , photographs, to show visitors what Perh was and is.

Generally worthwhile - mainly designed for children's interests, but excellent natural history section, and information on the origins of Perth from Neolithic times. The art work is in short supply, however. Still, it was free on the Tuesday we visited, so no complaints!

Went to spend some time looking at art, and saw a kooky contemporary exhibition and cool 'taxidermied' animals, among other things! Very friendly staff. Definitely worth going if you just happen to be in Perth :)
