This garden was just up the hill from The Sunbank Hotel where we stayed. The garden reminded me of Bushart Gardens in Victoria, British Columbia. Saw some very unusual plants and flowers.

We visited years ago but there seems to have been a lot of clearance and replanting since then which has brightened it up a lot and opened up views which had been obstructed. Very impressed indeed. Also there is now a coffee shop.

This time of year is the best time to visit these gardens i think. The array of beautiful colours at this time of the are certainly well worth a visit. Nice tea shop as well.

I visited here with two others. We expecting our visit to take about an hour. But we found so much of interest we stayed longer. There is a tearoom and a shop and toilets on site also.

What a hidden gem. Great staff, wonderful ginger cake in the cafe and the planting. This is an ideal how you could make your garden look exercise. So much beauty and each plant carefully named. This like others is a shining example of how gardens...More

Hello, when we visited we had to leave our dog in the car (in the shade) but maybe it would be worth asking at the office (just inside the gate). I think dogs should be allowed - they are much better behaved than some... More

I would say limited. A lot of the paths are suitable but other bits could've quite difficult.
