This spot is a dependable, good value, well done place. Living local, it's a great place to take visitors, friends, family. Food is always a step above what you kind find elsewhere in Elgin (although you did take the fish tacos off the menu.....nooo!) Throughly...More

Came across The Drouthy Cobbler on a two night stay in Elgin. The food is fantastic and I think the price justifies the quality of food. The barmen are very knowledgable about the drinks we had which were cocktails and gin. I would definitely recommend.

I ventured here on Wednesday night , the meat was good , but accompanying mash was lumpy and stodgy ,perhaps I received the crushed potato which accompanies the sea bass ! The beetroot and parsnip puree was so thinly spread ,the hot plate had baked...More

What a find! Had the mussels to start which were cooked to perfection and a few whiskeys from the wide selection they have on order. Reasonably priced and a great selection of food and drinks. Thumbs up!

Hi Joanna, we love dogs and have an outside area with awnings and heaters where they are very welcome. We don't however allow dogs inside the building.
