Golf at its best in Scotland: this 18-hole challenge is in a glorious setting surrounded by fields of abundant heather, great waves of gorse and distant mountains providing a spectacular backdrop along this course's 6,722 yards.
Nairn Golf Club 15 Miles East of Inverness, off A96 Seabank Road, Nairn IV12 4HB, Scotland
My husband just got back from a great round of golf at the Nairn Golf Club. He enjoyed
every minute - had a great caddy ( Neil) who made the time perfect. Not a lost ball; but lost stokes in the pot bunkers
Totally exceeded my expectations.
Fantastic golf course which we were fortunate enough to play in perfect weather conditions.
The holes by the sea are simply spectacular.
I would definitely put this course back on my list of courses I must play again.
The staff made our group welcome from the moment we arrived, including a nice surprise that trolleys were available free of charge. They practice facilities were good and the starter sent us off with a smile. This is a challenging, but fair course which was...More
I have never played golf in Scotland before so this was a wonderful treat for me & my husband. I have a friend who has moved up here & is a member so the cost was very cheap. Even though it was very windy on...More
Lucky enough to play here for nothing recently. If I had have been a visitor paying the full £135 rate, I would have been slightly disappointed. An excellent test of golf, although we were lucky with a tailwind most of the way round. Well manicured...More
Nairn GC may not have the big name associated with some of the other great and historic golf courses in Scotland, but dollar for donuts, it's an excellent golf course that offers fantastic views as well as great golf challenges. I would go back in...More
Nairn is a beautiful course and very challenging. When the gorse is blooming in the spring, it's really very attractive. The clubhouse is very modern and the staff are super friendly. The only thing I didn't like about Nairn is that some of the tees...More
We tried to play here in 2009 but got flooded out. the course is really fun but a bit tricky to follow. Some blind shots. The trolleys are free which was a welcome surprise. The pro shop staff is excellent as well as the starter....More
Played Nairn and a few other courses in the area in early April 2017. Nairn charged us their full summer green fee for a Monday in early April in Scotland(!) and, while there was much to compliment the layout, the course was far from at...More
A playable but difficult golf course.
Views over the Moray firth on all holes . Looks very pretty in the spring with the yellow gorse lining most fairways.
All the par 3 holes bar the first are fairly long and all well protected by bunkers....More
