Its a nice historical place, you can make a nice pictures, its close to city center and there is a lot of place where you can enjoy a caffe, lunch or whatever. So if you are in Glasgow, visit this historical place.

Located in crossing point of Glasgow's Main Streets, when it was built 1625 and still almost 400 years later, this 126ft(38m) tall tower stands there. Our Guide said that this is where public hangings were kept way back then!

An old landmark of Glasgow city, walked past it several time while in merchant city and Argyle street. Amazing contrast of the old and the new around it.

Lovely landmark near Argyll street. We walked past it every day. Didn't realise it's purpose years ago until after my visit.

A landmark in Glasgow that I've pasted many time and wondered what it looked like a hundred or so years age. It must have been marvellous when it was built all these years age. A must to go with the camera.

Touring the old city of Glasgow, one can't miss this landmark. Very striking looking. It is apparently the only remaining part of Glasgow's 17th century tolbooth.
