Have often seen this place on "Taggart" A very steep walk so you need to be fairly fit. Was surprised to see grave of the writer of "Wee Willie Winky"

I went around the Necropolis with Andrea my tour guide. Great stories involving rich merchants to gypsy fortune tellers. Great views from the top. Recommend.

This was incredible! The view is breathtaking. Be aware that some of the trails are somewhat steep (if you get off the main path) and it's a little bit of a hike to get to the top, but it's worth it. The whole area is...More

No, but you do not need it for the cemetery. For the city it would be appropriate to have but did not find something.

It can be as quick as 20 minutes if you like, or easily as long as 1hr if you prefer to meander through the graves and read some of the stones along the way. Either is rewarding!
