Although I have played the Torrance on a number of occasions in the past this was the 1st time for a few years. Boy -o-boy how the Course has matured and now truly compliments the setting of the Fairmont St Andrews. I'll be back to...More

Great build up , fantastic views sadly wasted as the course was in very poor condition ,greens are cored , rock hard and lack any form of consistency. Lots of bunkers GUR ..never worth the price ..Sorry Sam

Good golf course apart from the par 5's can't understand why you would have holes that are 560 yards in length with ditches in front of the greens they tend to spoil it in my view but it's still not a bad place to be...More

Booked for a Sunday morning £33 per person. The course conditions are fantastic with fast greens and the ball running down fairways when you hit them. I would eat before you arrive as there seemed little or no choice of food at breakfast time. There...More

Turned up to play in the (24th October / Tuesday - Torrance Course (Stableford)) which had been booked weeks in advance. My first disappointment was to be told that after driving 2-1/2 hours to get there that the only catering available was ready prepared bacon...More

The course was in excellent condition and a great test of my game. Especially the bunkers! The meal in the club house was excellent. A good place to eat, although slightly expensive, worth paying the extra just for the magnificent views across the bay.

Nicely maintained course. Coursebook was not included in the fee. The restaurant was ok but low on variety in snacks. Wind was a big factor during play. Great course to play. Casle course is better. And kittcocks has more seaside play.

Played the "Torrance Course" for the 1st time yesterday after having twice chosen to play "Kittocks" rather than here. In all honesty, although I found them both similar in nature, I'd have to say I preferred "Kittocks" ... but the "Torrance" has many good aspects...More

Played here last week, staff very helpful at clubhouse, course is a little longer than kittock, I found the kittocks a more quirky course m, and out the 2 I preferred it, but I'd play the Torrance again.

Hello Andrew, Hope you got to play both courses. Sorry for the delay on replying! I would have said the Torrance was the best one first. The Kittocks is more challenging, and tougher to walk in from if the weather turns on... More
