The stained glass windows were absolutely superb as was the woodcarving on the ceiling. The pulpit was wonderfully carved from Iona marble and John Knox preached in the church.

A small sign in the Holy Trinity Church is the only indication that a seismic religious event occurred there in 1559. Holy Trinity Church is not the same building as the one that served as the parish church of St. Andrew’s Cathedral during the 16th...More

Another great piece of St Andrews, wonderful church that is still in use today. Church is located basically in the middle of town.

It's a nice old church. It's not huge. It's still used. The alter area is really nice and my daughters really liked the stained glass. Overall it's pretty nice.

A lovely quiet place to enjoy in a busy shopping area. Historical and interesting if you like to visit churches connected with where you are visiting.

This church is a current place of worship so it's fun and strange to see the contemporary with the historical. In some ways this church is more interesting for what it once was--a pulpit for John Knox on at least two occasions--as well as how...More

The church is right in the town centre. The great architecture stands out but for me the large stain glass windows at one end were excellent. As with most things in the town surrounded by history and has a great feel

I stopped by here twice during my 4-day stay in St. Andrews and both times there was a man hard at work cleaning/buffing the floors with obvious care. The care shows; the sanctuary is beautiful. Stop in for some quick reflections while touring the town...More
