Visited the gardens yesterday, even though it's early in the year , still plenty to see. From the the trees, to the rock gardens, garden layouts, and onto the glasshouses. Every plant, tree, and shrub clearly indentified with legible tags. After all the walking etc...More

So much more than just a garden. There are an abundance or rare and unusual species, all carefully labelled from trees down to shrubs and herbs. There are zones for different parts of the world especially China and Chile so one can almost feel transported...More

Hi Rachel. Yes, there is! The First Friday of each month is free for Botanic Garden entry. Any paid for exhibits are still charged for, so currently entry to the Tropical Butterfly House would still be £2.95 each.

Yes ,as I recall there is a small car park at the entrance to the gardens.
