I may be biased as my daughter spent four years here but the history and the old university buildings are beautiful. The Quad and the Chapel are especially worth a visit. The university makes the town of St Andrews.
Very nice walk through centuries, especially at summer, when there are no students crowds. The main buildings, chapel, inner yards remain the same as they were before decades or even centuries. You could feel yourself inside the history (or, at least inside historical films). It...More
Lovely town, beautiful university buildings, spectacular views of the sea and stunning beaches to walk on. Very safe and secure. Excellent education - where else can you get all of this from a university?
