Take a wander around the marvellous Callender House in all its splendour. Free entry with visitor centre and exhibitions. Top quality high tea room. The interiors are magnificent to behold. So glad I stay only a stones throw away! Highly recommended suitable for all ages.

Visited Callendar House tearoom today for a Christmas lunch with my husband. It is delightful to be greeted by the gorgeous tree at the foot of the stairs and there is also a very pretty tree in the dining room itself.

Excellent little excursion. Enjoyed eating in the tearoom. Good choice on menu and excellent, friendly service. Plenty of visitors enjoying afternoon tea in the restaurant and generally having a good time.
