Been a "user" of Port Edgar for many years and sad to see it descending into a bit of a shambles. Manager needs to work on his attitude and public relations - apparently also with staff according to those I met. A pity, as it...More

Dear honesttradin g
I am sorry to hear that you had a less than satisfactory experience at Port Edgar Marina. Port Edgar Holdings have been working hard to make the marina a 5 star visitor experience since taking over the management of the site in...More
.........and I can't comment about it as a Marina but it's a good place to get a view of the bridges, in particular the new Queensferry Crossing.

We stopped off here before returning home, after dropping friends off at Edinburgh airport.
It was not for water sports, sailing or any activity like that - just simply to have a walk around, admire the boats, views and to get a closer look at...More
The Marina is basically a World War 1 harbour, so that gives it plenty of character. Whilst the buildings are old, they have recently been updated and as a user of many years have always found them clean. The sailing school is great, and the...More
Ideal for kids messing around in boats. But alas I am no longer a child, I found the shower block filthy with abandoned underwear everywhere. The whole place looks like a stalag from the Second World War. It cost me over £36 pounds per night...More
My son has just completed a sailing course and loved it. Five days of fun and learning. They capsized a lot which concerned me but he and his friend assured me that was part of the fun. The staff at Port Edgar Sailing School are...More
