Never coming here again, they have a camera in the mens toilets. Can’t comment on the women’s. I’ve reported them, can’t see why they think it’s okay. Weirdest expierence I’ve ever had at a gig

The venue is perfect for smaller gigs, and we went for the first time in many years. The sound was excellent and the venue was surprisingly good. No frills but perfect for a night out and place to see live music.

I visited here with a group of friends to see The View earlier in the year, it had a great atmosphere and the drink was reasonable. A good venue to visit if a band you likes playing their and you're in the area.

Saw the Doors Alive there and it’s a seedy slightly dirty venue that suffers from easily fixable problems. I’m commenting based on a few visits not just last night: Doormen - why not greet “customers” who are paying your wages. First impressions etc Bar -...More

A small club , excellent venue to see live bands . Once you gain entry past the grumpy straight faced doorman , come on man I've seen and met bigger and badder in my time , it's 2017 not 1977 so lighten up . This...More

Cheap drinks, good music, nice staff and not an extortionate entry all in all a good night. Slightly different music compared to your generic club anthems which was great will definitely be back.

I went to see Airbourne at this venue, It is a nice intimate sized venue with good views of the stage from floor level and balcony. The sound is good too. The problems of this venue are all the stairs, with Edinburgh itself being on...More

We were in the Liquid Room for a stag. Organised in advance, we could get in without any problem (16 men). Good music and friendly staff, we had a great night! One particular thank goes to our really involved French bartender!

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the

Depends on the event. For gigs, priority is given to disabled persons first and seating is limited. Call the venue beforehand to arrange. For club nights, sometimes tables can be reserved but this is usually arranged... More
