Not going to say much about the tour itself, my sister and I went on this journey without proper planning. We wanted to get in on the Best of Scotland 1 day tour but this was the only one available.
We did not really participate...More
We toured with Graham on the Wee Red Bus! He was full of fun and information. He went out of his way to show us around beautiful Scotland. We got to see some of the most beautiful landscape and wildlife. The history that we experienced...More
We were only in Edinburgh for a long weekend, and chose this tour to give us a small taste of the local countryside and history. So glad we did, because the whole day was an amazing and unforgettable experience - with great scenery and fantastic...More
We took the Loch Ness and Highlands tour on the Wee Red Bus. Kevin Macleod was our driver and it was a wonderful tour. Kevin was full of stories and interesting facts. Considering that it was an all day tour, there was never a dull...More
This tour has a nice balance of time sightseeing off the bus versus drive time. It is a great combination of sights to see in one day. Graham is a fantastic tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and thoughtful of everyone's needs. The amount of...More
Great tour! Passionate Scottish tour guide, took the group to ‘secret’ local lookouts that were incredible and very knowledgeable about Scotland’s past and present. Managed to find Highland Coo’s but not the LochNess monster 😉
We had a fantastic time touring with Paul. Even though it was a long day, it was a great time with him gracing us with his knowledge, stories, and music. I was a little car sick, and he did his best to make me comfortable...More
I had that day-trip on the 23rd of Dec. in 2018. There was a festive christmas spirit and christmas songs were played all the way along the route.
The weather was good, mostly sunny. It was perfect for taking photos.

Lying where grandiose New Town townhouses give way to malls and utilitarian housing, Broughton and Calton have long been transitional neighbourhoods with a mixed identity. It’s here that Edinburgh’s gay village found a home in the 1980s. But gay culture is anything but overt along bustling epicentre Broughton Street; even if polished pubs, hip bistros, smart delis and art galleries all speak of affluent good taste. The
top of Leith Walk is more ragged. This major thoroughfare boasts a famously gritty gay club, as well as a strip of good Indian restaurants. Regal Georgian and Victorian townhouses preside over largely deserted streets in Calton, where only the occasional restaurant or hotel brings much life. Even so, a steady trickle of idlers and picnickers pass by to climb Calton Hill for its wide-open lawns, wonderful city views, and curious monuments – an Athenian-style temple among them.
