got told to go here by a local girl,think she was having a laugh,arrived and paid £6 to get in only 2 out of 3 got in lol,place was packed and lots of very young looking people,music was very random ,had a drink and went....More

'The shack' should be renamed 'The Skip' as I am sure that is where the contents of this place have come from. On entry you are faced with a dark, dingy, airless room smelling of BO and unwashed clothes. The floor is uneven rough concrete...More

Was in the shack last night with friends visiting from Newcastle. For a Friday night in Edinburgh especially during festival time we expected this to be a great place. OMG were we wrong! The One Positive of the place was the Music: it was Great...More

My fiancé and I with our other 2 friends went here on our day session in Edinburgh. If you love all the older music you will enjoy this place, it's reasonably priced for drinks aswell. They have shots for a fair price! The music changes...More

If you like student bars then this is the place to go. Music was good but the place was filthy and drink watered down plus £6 to get in to stand in a crowded room. Won't be back.

Absolute joke of a place. Manager is an utter numpty as well. They won't allow stag dos but will allow hen parties. Bit sexist and utter tripe. Will nevvvveeeer go here again and we used to arrange regular nights of 40-50 friends coming here. But...More
