A large park in the city. It is peaceful and large enough to walk, jog or run, as many clearly do. When you get tired of the city traffic this is a good area to relax. It offers some great views of the city.

On a dry clear day enjoy the views and fresh air. If it has been wet wear some good shoes or boots. The climb up Arthurs Seat is worthwhile for the views

While my daughter took a stroll to the top of Arthur’s seat, I took a stroll through Holyrood Castle. It was simply wonderful seeing the past while envisioning the present. Well worth the admission!

Ideal for a stroll and you get some great views of the city, especially if you take the path taking you to the top of Arthur’s Seat.

A long and windy trek to the summit but well worth the effort. Fantastic views over Edinburgh. A must see.
