“Possibly one of the worst night clubs in Edinburgh”
A funky pub named after a late 18th-century criminal.

I have solely made this trip advisor account to warn people about the foul behaviour of the bouncers at Sneaky Pete’s. While the venue is good and intimate - the perfect place for the nights they host - I would not recommend drinking anything for...More

Me and my friends were enjoying our night at Sneaky Petes until the two bouncers told us to ‘f**k off’, after one drink inside. We were all unable to retrieve our jackets due to the bouncers’, and after being aggressively told to go away after...More

Went here to catch DJ Seinfeld and was so disappointed with the venue. The place is a super small sweat box, and to make it worst they pump the smoke machine nonstop until you can’t see or breathe. The place is pretty stifling without all...More

Small place on Cowgate. Limited small bar, but good for smaller and unsiugned bands. Great friendly atmosphere.

The place is very small but it is still decent for a night of dancing. The music was good but it got really crowded.

Horrible shoe box type place. Smells of sweat, people walking round clearly off they're head and acting very strange didn't feel safe at all. No thanks.

Went to sneak petes not that long ago. Was walking passed with a mate and some band from Madrid was playing call the Parrots. Nick let us in for free and the band was mint. Always forget how small it is though.

We went to see a band here, It's quite small and holds about 80 people comfortably. You can get up close to the stage easily. The PA, sound man and lighting effects on stage were great and I would recommend it for that reason. There...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
