The Cove is really like no other attraction I’ve seen, but the guide is what really made the experience. She was engaging and funny and provided a great background into the theories about the Cove’s origin. If you’re looking to get out of the city...More

One would never know that this Cove or caves are here. Goes quite deep and long can be very cold once further down

You can almost walk past the entrance to Glimerton Cove without noticing it, hidden away just outside the centre of Edinburgh - but inside is a fascinating underground cove full of mysteries. I have never been to anything like it before and would highly recommend...More

Must say Gilmerton Cove is in a bit of strange location outside the city centre, and if we hadn't pre-booked tickets, we'd have probably turned back. However, really glad we stuck with it! Totally mysterious place, and the guide was fantastic! Well worth a visit!!

Pretty tight on some places. Maybe worth contacting the venue.

You will need to phone to check opening hours. Given that passages are narrow, they are limited to how many people can go down at a time. So pre booking might be advisable during tourist season.
