The Staff at my work enjoyed an enjoyable night at Gilmerton Cove. Kitted out with hardhats, we walked through this unique subterranean labyrinth with tour guide Margaretanne who delved into the history of this truly remarkable hidden gem in Edinburgh. The legend says, in 1724...More

It was interesting to see how the need for space changed the city and how some people lived. Our guide was very informative but a little too theatrical for my taste.

Really unusual thing to do in the area but interesting and I would recommend. Tour is quite short and not for anyone who doesn't like the dark!

We took Tim to visit Gilmerton cove based on a recommendation. It is a great history mystery. So much is unknown about how it came to be in existence, but it has a great story. Our guide is passionate about the cove and getting funding...More

Gilberton Coves - well worth a visit, especially if you like solving mysteries! Listen to the theories as to how they came into existence, explore for yourself and be intrigued! Not suitable for pushchairs. Suit primary school or teenage kids & adults.

A very interesting place to visit. Bus journey takes around 30 mins but is worth it. Our guide was lovely and provided lots of interesting theories as to what the site actually is.

Not at all. It is small with low ceilings (not an issue for the wee ones 😁) but not done as a "scary" tour

Pretty tight on some places. Maybe worth contacting the venue.
