Really interesting, and reasonably priced, underground network of historic passages and chambers. Our guide was also really informative, friendly and enthusiastic, so she really added to the visit. It's about 30mins on the bus from the city centre (but less than a minute's walk from...More

A very interesting place to visit. Bus journey takes around 30 mins but is worth it. Our guide was lovely and provided lots of interesting theories as to what the site actually is.

It takes about 30 minutes bus ride to get to Gilmerton, but the cove is unusual and fun to explore under the guided tour. Wear comfortable shoes and take a flashlight. Inside is cool, so a light jacket would be also a plus.

You just don't know why this cove was really built but it was a lot of fun exploring it with our knowledgeable guide. Easy to get to from Edinburgh by bus.

Whatever they are paying the tour guide, it’s not enough! Why someone hasn’t signed her up for a TV show I don’t know because she is this place’s secret weapon. Knowledgable, charming and funny, she brings the history and the mystery truely to life. Incredible...More

Fascinating tour. The short bus ride out of the main tourist drag is more than worth it. This place is a gem that should be appreciated by more visitors to Edinburgh. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable & clearly had a passion for the place...More

Not at all. It is small with low ceilings (not an issue for the wee ones 😁) but not done as a "scary" tour

Pretty tight on some places. Maybe worth contacting the venue.
