Designed in the stereotypical fashion of a detective with deerskin outfit, pipe and magnifying glass. This statue is situated opposite the building were Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was born, this statue is well worth a visit for Sherlock Holmes fans.

The statute gets lost among the parking lot and shrubbery so keep an eye out of it. It is a must see while in Edinburgh.

Right outside our hotel! And near the birthplace of Conan Doyle. Quaint little area to explore and it was nice to have a grocery store (sainbury).
