Much smaller than we expected, in very good order with interesting information. We were too scared to climb to the very top but enjoyed the visit, well worth the trip off the main road.

Really enjoyable little break on the journey to have a look around the tower. Parking is free, tower is free and really well maintained. Well done Heritage Scotland!

In very good order for such an old building can climb to the top of the tower by narrow steep steps and see the surrounding area

Even in the rain, and having to keep an umbrella over the camera, we had a short, but enjoyable visit to this wonderful little ruin. Well worth the time to visit.

A unique little tower with no entry price, no shops, nothing fancy. In reality it's just an old tower, some ruins, pair of covered rooms and some information boards. But it's great. Great place for a picnic. It's fenced so pets can be brought and...More

It was very interesting and we could climb right to the top. The stairs are not for the faint-hearted! Parking is only sufficient for about 3 cars.

Wow, we were out a drive while on holiday and saw the sign for the tower so we decided to visit. We weren't disappointed what a beautiful structure. Set in gorgeous surroundings. The views from the top is simply stunning although the spiral staircase is...More

Unique as it is the only round tower in Scotland. Not the easiest to get too as up a B road (single track). We were on our way to Threave Castle and decided to visit as it was a slight detour. The tower was built...More
