Went to see Landseer's Monarch of the Glen painting. What a marvellous opportunity in little Kirkcudbright! The museum is bright, modern and free. Lots of other fine art exhibits on three floors. A splendid amenity.

Just opened on the 9th June 2018. This historic building has been refurbished and is now a breathtaking experience for all. Housing the past artists of Kbt and surrounding area to the best advantage. BEAUTIFUL NEW BUILDING for Art in SW SCOTLAND.
