Far from being my favourite beach as the mud from the river makes everything look dirty. Better beaches elsewhere but the view is pretty.

Wow what a beautiful beach!it felt so private and tranquil !in such beautiful surrounding!it somewhat seems like a hidden gem!free parking and you only had stones through to walk to the beach! Everything you could want on a relaxing holiday!😊

Lovely beach with adequate parking on grass beside plus loos which makes it very popular. Picnics here are great fun. The sea and sand are nicely graded so no sudden depths unless you wander out too far. Fresh water running into bay. Fun for crabbing...More

Such a beautiful bay. Very clean. Loverly walk. Easy to access with good parking facilities. Lots of rock pools to investigate. Didnt have my walking boots on and still felt easy to investigate. Got some really loverly pictures.

A beautiful beach. Sand and rocks. Very clean.. Excellent parking and picnic area with toilets. Easily accessible.

We stopped at this very picturesque spot to walk our dogs. Headed across the soft sand and pebbles onto the main expanse of sand. The dogs loved it and tore towards the distant water. It's a wide bay with rocky outcrops and its own wreck...More

we have visited this area alot over the years and the Doon beach has to be one of our favourites just perfect for picnics playing or relaxing with lots of parking and toilets

Dhoon beach is nice enough, but nowhere near as good as other beaches in the area (eg Rockcliffe and Sandyhills).
