Enjoyed very much the pleasure of being able to stop at Gretna green and partake in a mock wedding with our group. The gentleman who spoke to our group was awesome. Shops were great, a lot of variety of products and the ladies were friendly.

Have heard the family stories about the Blacksmith Shop and how a member of the family tree used to perform these services. So, on our first visit to Scotland, of course, we had to visit. Staff were very friendly, museum was amazing with lots of...More

This is well worth a visit when in the area, the history behind the marriage ceremony as was in those days was eye opening. Lots of descriptive displays to read, in many languages and many artefacts too. Entrance fee for us was £3 each and...More

9am to 6pm June to September 9am to 5pm rest of year but I would always check their website. If there is a wedding, the room where it is being held is closed to the public.
