This river offers quite a spectacular scene where the dam for the mill was once in place. Very scenic walk along the river in Dumfries.

This is a beautiful fast moving river. There was a lot of tree trunks stuck at one place and they were jumping all over the place in the fast moving currents. It is a lovely place to have a sit and great views.

Forever Changing, a wonderful river, with wildlife to spot. The water was quite wild after rain however above the bride in Dumfries is was quiet and still with a lovely reflection of trees.

Powerful and beautiful river. Have seen it during floods and this month calm. Lovely walks. Great for fishing.

Enjoyed a riverside ride towards the old dock, despite the drizzle. Lots of wildlife at low tide. Good network of cycling routes in the area.
