It took myeslf and my daughter a long time to find this place. It is not sign posted until you are there and then only on a footpath sign. Considering it is supposed to be of importance it's a pity that it's hidden away (it...More

We are staying nearby, so decided to walk (along the busy road, no footpath). Sadly our visit was stymied by muck-spreading around the stones (no sniggering at the back) and an impenetrable hedge. It's not Stonehenge!

A lovely stone circle and easily accessible from the main road. If you visit here on any spiritually significant day there is a chance of meeting other travellers but usually it is quiet.

I went out of my way to visit this site. First of all it was so low key that I could not find it - yet I was looking right at it. If you are going past then fine, take a stop and have a...More

I've visited many atmospheric and haunting places in my time. Sadly this isn't one of them. Little signage, poor access and didn't even see the plaque!

If you stand on the stone mounting of the placque (featuring the only information about it), you can roughly make out the circle. Let the kids and dogs out for a run. Need some interpretive information to make it really interesting. But the old stile...More
